The Chobi Sultani is woven in the classical Chobi tradition, a style born in the northern highlands of Afghanistan where natural dyes drawn from pomegranate rind, walnut husk, and indigo have coloured wool for generations. The word Chobi means "wood colour" — a nod to the soft, sun-kissed palette that defines this lineage. The Sultani design, with its regal all-over floral lattice, was historically reserved for the courts of kings.
